Created in 2013 by Nadja Forsberg and Linn Frisinger, Swedish Stockings exist as a solution to the current hosiery industry, creating stockings from recycled yarn with clean production processes. As the only eco-friendly hosiery brand in the world, Swedish Stockings is shaping the future of nylon production worldwide.

 In short, the current hosiery industry is terribly destructive on the environment and on consumers. The production itself is harmful in the environment (you can read more here) and they are designed to break pretty quickly, fuelling a higher consumption before nearly 3 billion pairs get thrown into landfills each year, never to biodegrade.

Hello Swedish Stockings. We use patented technology to create beautiful, long lasting stockings from recycled yarn. Our 3D knitting machines ensure they always stay up and are comfortable all day and we produce with solar powered, zero waste factories.

We design our range in Stockholm and produce with Ileana in Italy.
